A CV is a sensitive document. That is why it does not leave your browser.
Nothing is sent anywhere
Once loaded, this page talks to no server. It has no login, no database and no analytics. The photo is read straight from the disk by a browser function, not by a server.
The draft lives in the browser
A CV in progress is saved to this browser's local storage (localStorage) so you do not lose it when the page reloads. Another computer or another browser cannot see it.
Make the backup yourself
If you clear your browser data, the draft goes with it. That is why there is a button Save to file: it downloads a small JSON file that you keep and can load back at any time.

Frequently asked questions
Does my data go to a server somewhere?
No. The page has nowhere to send it. The form, the photo and the finished CV exist only in your browser's memory and in its local storage. After loading, the page requests nothing except its own stylesheet and font from arling.sk.
How is the PDF made?
Tlačidlom Download PDF opens your browser's print window. In it choose the destination Save as PDF. Only the sheet itself is printed, A4 with a 14 mm margin; the tool's interface stays out of it. No PDF generation library is downloaded.
Does it work on a phone?
Yes. On a narrow screen the steps sit above the form and the preview opens with a button in the bottom bar. Printing to PDF works in a mobile browser too, the file is saved to the phone.
How do I move an unfinished CV to another computer?
Tlačidlom Save to file downloads a small JSON file with all the data and the photo. On the second computer you open the same page and load the file with the button Load from file. You can just as easily e-mail it to yourself.
Which languages can it produce the CV in?
Slovak, Czech, German and English. The switch changes the section headings, the month names, the format of the date of birth and the names of the levels. Text you wrote yourself is not translated, we have no translator in the browser.
What happens to the draft when I clear my browser history?
The draft goes too, because it is kept in the browser's local storage. The same applies to a private window. So after every bigger change, download a backup to a file.
What does it cost and do I need an account?
Nothing, and you do not. No registration, no e-mail, no watermarks in the PDF. The tool is part of a family of small tools at arling.sk, each of which solves exactly one problem.
