Forget me deletes your e-mail account and game progress on our side. Purchases remain, accounting law does not let us delete them sooner than after 10 years.
How it works
No password, no registration.
You enter your e-mail, get a 6-digit code, type it in here or click the link right in the e-mail. Signing in lasts 90 days on this device; sign out or ask to be forgotten and it stops working everywhere at once.
The code is valid for 15 minutes and five attempts, after that you need a new one. We store no password anywhere, because you have none: there is nothing to leak.
Purchases get attached to your e-mail even when you paid on a different device: when you sign in, we ask Stripe what you bought from us with that e-mail, and add it.
Why a code and not just a link in the e-mail?
A link from mail often opens in a different browser on a phone than the one you started in, so the sign-in would not apply where you need it. A code can be typed anywhere. The link still works too, just as a shortcut on the same device.
The code did not arrive, what now?
Check your Spam folder and that the e-mail address was typed correctly. The code is valid for 15 minutes; after that, ask for a new one with Send again. If that does not help, write to andrej@arling.sk.
What data do you store about me?
Your e-mail address and the list of purchases, the legal basis is performance of a contract. Purchases must be kept for 10 years under Slovak accounting law, even after Forget me; the sign-in code itself is deleted after 15 minutes. Details are in the privacy policy.
What exactly does Forget me do?
It deletes the e-mail account and the progress in every game on our side. Purchases remain, accounting law does not let us delete them sooner. Games played only in your browser without signing in are not deleted, those you clear in the browser settings.
Does this work without JavaScript or in private browsing?
Signing in needs JavaScript. It works in private browsing, it just signs you out again once you close the window, because private browsing clears the browser's local storage.
