Once a week we read the public pages of your online store and e-mail you when something about EU obligations or the data AI shopping assistants read breaks or gets fixed.

What it watches

EU obligations on your public pages
The online withdrawal function, the notice on the legal guarantee and generic environmental claims in product texts. For each obligation we say whether we found it on the pages we read.
Data for AI shopping assistants
Price, availability, shipping and returns in your product data (JSON-LD, Microdata and the public feed) and in your store policies. Sample: up to 20 products and 3 product pages. We evaluate this data when we find readable product pages on your store; if we find none, we tell you so and keep watching the EU obligations.
Product feed errors
If you enter a feed address: Google Shopping XML, Atom, CSV, and Shopify and WooCommerce JSON. We do not score feeds in the Heureka format yet and we tell you so; we never invent a score.

How often

Your store once a week, the first check right after payment. Your feed every day at 5:00 UTC.

What you get

An e-mail right after you turn it on, with the first results.
An e-mail when the store result changes since the last check: what broke and what got fixed, and for product data also on which products.
An e-mail when the feed error counts change, or the feed stops answering or is empty.
A Shop Guard page with the latest result, the feed history and buttons to Cancel the subscription, Turn e-mails off and Delete.

Payment via Stripe. At checkout on this site the merchant of record is Link (Sold through Link, LLC) via Stripe, which sends you the receipt. In the Stripe checkout the item is called Feed Doctor Monitor. The free store check stays free.

Limits

It reads only public pages, without running JavaScript and without logging in. So it cannot see a withdrawal form behind the customer account on Shoptet, only the link to it.
It is a technical check, not legal advice. We do not promise compliance with the law or the outcome of an inspection.

Questions

Do I need to install anything or give you admin access?

No. We read only the public pages of your store, without logging in and without running JavaScript.

Will Shop Guard tell me whether my store complies with the law?

No. It says what we found and did not find on the public pages we read. It is a technical check, not legal advice.

How do I cancel?

On the Shop Guard page with one click on Cancel the subscription; every e-mail links to it. The subscription ends at the end of the paid month and there is no further payment.

I use Shoptet. Which feed address should I enter?

The Google feed: in the Shoptet admin under Prepojenie (Connections), XML feedy, Google nákupy; copy the address from there. We do not score feeds in the Heureka format yet and we tell you so.

What if nothing changes?

We send nothing. The first e-mail arrives after you turn it on, with the first results; later ones only on change. The latest result is always on the Shop Guard page.

Who sends me the receipt?

At checkout on this site the merchant of record is Link (Sold through Link, LLC) via Stripe, which sends you the receipt. In the Stripe checkout the item is called Feed Doctor Monitor.
