About the village.
Puzzle Village is a map of our free daily logic puzzles. Every house, tree, animal and ripple on it is drawn by a small program right in your browser, the way a risograph prints: flat inks laid one over another, a little grain, each colour a hair off register. There is no photo and no picture generator in it.
We made it light on your computer. The still parts are printed once and reused, only the small things that move are redrawn, and the village rests completely after forty quiet seconds, or as soon as you scroll away or switch tabs. If your system asks for reduced motion, it stays a still print.
Our anonymous statistics (self-hosted Umami) count the page visit, as on every page of ours, and which house was opened and which puzzle link was followed. Ideas or trouble: andrej@arling.sk.
