Easy.
Eight by eight. Every picture here can be solved with the simple steps Hint knows: an overlap forced by a block bigger than half the line, and a line where the numbers, with their gaps, add up to exactly its length.
Medium.
Ten by ten. Marks you have already placed start narrowing the room left for a block, and Hint reasons from them the same way it reasons from the numbers alone.
Hard.
Twelve by twelve. More passes of row-and-column logic before the picture opens up.
