Does the e-invoice mandate apply to me?

From 1 January 2027, VAT payers in Slovakia must issue invoices to businesses and public offices in Slovakia as XML e-invoices, and every business must be able to receive them. At most 6 questions, with a source for every paragraph of the result.

In short, per the Financial Administration FAQ: from 1 January 2027 VAT payers issue invoices to businesses and public offices in Slovakia as e-invoices (question 17), a business that is not a VAT payer does not have to issue them (question 57), and every business must be able to receive them (question 7).
